I'm not sure if I've mentioned this before, but when Susan gets a little heated, she'll break into the Midwest accent... and maybe a few Ork swear words she picked up from her Dad. Because Orks.

Based on word choices, It is the North-Central dialect, right? You're talking... er... being read by an Iowegian (specifically from central Iowa), living in southeastern South Dakota. Even though the latter is in the North-Central region, most people here still sound like the Midland accent, but one does notice when going further north that it shifts.
